Standard facilities that hotels and villas offer in Tanjung Benoa are superb air conditioned rooms with up to date décor with a western style. Room service will be available 24 hours for your convenience, and the in house bars restaurants will be 5 star affairs. This type of service would be common with most of the Tanjung Benoa Hotels even those in the mid range price bracket. Then the standard increases again as you stay in the more exclusive hotels and villas.

When choosing one of the top rated places to stay you can expect nothing less than perfect service and facilities. Many of these establishments offer private areas, obviously these are going to be the most expensive, but when you see what they offer you will admit that for the rates they charge it is very reasonable. Not so much the hotels, but the private villas are the places to stay if you are looking for a secluded holiday without being disturbed. Many of these offer private gardens, landscaped with tropical vegetation that will be separated from any other bungalows or villas, with your own meandering path leading down to a private beach for you to sunbath on. There will also be a private pool close to your accommodation that is solely for you and your guest’s enjoyment. Apart from that the in house activities that are provided will be far too many for you to be able to do in one visit. The water sports alone that these Tanjung Benoa Hotels offer will keep you entertained your entire holiday.

The whole are around Tanjung Benoa is fairly safe and if you are not intending on traveling around much there is not much to worry about. It is when you decide to travel outside the resort that you need to keep a few things in mind.

Almost everyone that travels to Bali will visit at least one temple out of the thousands that available to explore. When entering a temple you will be required to wear a sarong or long pants and shirt. With the heat in Bali it is better to go for the sarong, each temple offers them for rent or you can buy one at the resort or bring one from home if you prefer your own or you are intending on doing a lot of temple hoping.

The greatest threat that you will face when traveling to temples and other more rural sites in Bali is not the pickpockets or thieves in human form, but the ones dressed in fur with long tails. The monkeys in Bali are renowned for being the fastest little thieves you will find, they will snatch anything that is hanging loose thinking that it is food. Over the years they have become used to getting food from tourists and just assume that you have something for them. Keep all loose items securely stored in a bag and hold it tight. If they do happen to snatch something throw some food down and they will drop it, or give one of the temple guides a few dollars if it is an important item and they will retrieve it for you.
