Seminyak Hotels
The majority of the Seminyak hotels are situated on the seafront with exceptional views of the ocean and paddy fields; the landscape gradually changes into a more tropical country area as you head a little further north and start to enter Kerobokan. For families, couples and other tourists looking for a place to stay in Bali that is not your average tourist resort then Seminyak is the area to look for a hotel.
There are various types of accommodation available to you when staying in Seminyak, not only hotels but traditionally built villas. The rates for places in Seminyak that you are going to find here will not include cheap, budget hotels. The services and quality are of an exceptionally high standard and the tariffs reflect that. All Seminyak hotels will provide you with a very personal service, and will offer you only the best that Bali has to offer.
A hotel room will always provide you with a breathtaking view of some aspect of the island, whether it is the ocean or the tropical surroundings. All hotels will have their own restaurants for your dining needs and at least one bar for you to relax in. 24 hour room service will be standard and the rooms themselves will be very well equipped and beautifully designed. Seminyak villas may be built out of traditional materials on the outside, but inside they will have all that you would expect from an up market holiday resort, cozy with home comforts that are very modern to make your stay as relaxing and pleasurable as possible. If you opt for a private villa, you will have access to a private beach, without the large crowds associated with places like Kuta. A private swimming pool will be set amongst the beautifully kept tropical gardens. There are always common lounges where you can mingle with other guests and enjoy other views of the island.
If you travel north from Kuta you will find Seminyak which is a more refined area of Kuta. Seminyak is a more sophisticated holiday destination in Bali, and is geared towards the couple and family tourists. You will find this district of Kuta much quieter and laid back. There are no groups of young people hanging around drinking and making a nuisance of themselves. That said staying in one of the Seminyak hotels is not boring, there is plenty of entertainment on offer, but is more refined and intimate. Accommodation is commonly mid to top end and although it is a lot more pricey that the bargain hotels of South Kuta, the rates are extremely reasonable for the service and quality that you receive as a tourist.
Bali has created a wonderful tourism industry over the years and realizes that there are many different standards that various tourists are looking for. The island is dotted with accommodation for all budgets, and the different areas have been separated to ensure that each tourist’s particular need is catered for.

If you want to hire a car, visit Kuta car rental for cars or Amerthanda if you prefer riding on a motorcycle.

Bali Slingshot
Bali Slingshot is not for the fainthearted. This is an attraction that has been built and is managed by an Australian company. Booking a place to in one of the Seminyak hotels is fairly easy as most of the resorts and hotels in the area have their own website that you can book through. Most visitors will come to Bali and stay through the dry season, April to September. However there are tons of people who still come during the rainy season October to March as the annual temperature is a constant 30°C.
Most of the resorts in Seminyak are exclusive and have different views and facilities on offer, if this is your first visit I am sure that any hotel or villa will provide you with more than you would expect. Always book in advance to make sure that the place you want to stay at has room for you and you don’t end up staying in a hotel not to your liking.
The popular credit cards are accepted as a means of online booking and should not be a problem for you. Once you have completed your online booking always make sure that you receive a confirmation email and the amount that you paid is the amount that was deducted from your card. Not that these hotels would cheat you intentionally, mistakes do happen.
Depending on how early you book your trip, two to three weeks before leaving, check with the hotel again to make sure that everything is in order and that the room you chose is still available and booked under your name. Being a quite secluded area there is not much that you need to be wary of in Seminyak. Beware of the monkeys, they are all over Bali and will snatch anything that is hanging lose and easy to grab including your glasses. If they do happen to snatch something make sure that they are not sitting next to a cliff and throw down some food. The monkeys will drop your item and go after the food. Even though most tourists are warned far too many don’t listen and end up losing things, sometimes even expensive jewelry.
